North West Independents is a new creative cooperative built by artists, for artists. We want to challenge the way the art world works—putting artists first, empowering them to be the decision makers, and cutting out the barriers that usually stand in the way.

We got tired of waiting for the right opportunities to come along, so we started making our own. We’re a community of working artists who believe in supporting each other, sharing resources, and building something bigger than any of us could do alone. We don’t need to rely on the usual gatekeepers—we’ve got everything we need to do it ourselves.

 

North West Independents is about taking back control. It’s about artists leading the way, creating our own spaces, and proving that we don’t need permission to make great things happen in our region.
